They shouldn’t return one of the well known statues in the ‘big apple’. One reason the USA shouldn’t return the Statue of Liberty, is that the French gave America the statue, symbolising an alliance with America, during the American Revolution. One effect the returning the Statue to France could be that France may think that America doesn’t respect their alliance with them.
